Since 1998, the Lincoln Navigator has been one of America’s favorite full-size SUVs. Built largely on the same platform of the Ford Expedition, the Lincoln Navigator has all of the room and functionality of the Ford Expedition, but luxury is one of the top-selling points of the vehicle.
The Lincoln Navigator has a refreshed model, being released in 2018, just 20 years after the original SUV became available to the public. The SUV is widely known already for its luxury, but also for its power. The 2018 Lincoln Navigator will be made from aluminum to help reduce its weight, and will become sleeker to help improve its aerodynamics.
Six passengers will be able to comfortably fit into the 2018 Lincoln Navigator, and the interior has been re-designed to display its luxury features. Wood trim and polished bright aluminum will line the interior to resemble a similar concept of luxury boats and yachts. The six large seats are made of premium leather and look like chairs, adjustable in 30 ways, and the rear portion of each seat has its own console.
Furthermore, some of the interior features included are a large touch screen display that supports Apple CarPlay, a premium sound system, 3-dimensional navigation, 4G connections are now supported, wireless chargers are available as well as automatic climate control.
